Sunrise (1927)

Sunrise, subtitled “A Tale of Two Humans”, won the Oscar for Best Unique and Artistic Picture at the inaugural Academy Awards in 1929. At the time, this distinction was considered equally prestigious to the award for Best Production (which was given to Wings).
